The new saddle seat is being offered to budget airlines by an Italian company called Avioninterios. / B5 j/ c: P! K( {9 }( X E# M 7 O- m: o3 M6 Q( s+ JThis 'seat' comes with 58cm (23in) of leg room compared to 76cm (30in) you get in a standard economy seat. 0 V$ W3 W+ y3 J( Z) B3 V5 y) S# L3 e: V. o0 `* E. C

Tray issues aside for the ... more ample people on the flight, i'm 6'4", and find that my legs are just a smidge longer than 30in which is annoying - especially when the woman in front with head phones on reclines her seat and forces my kneecaps to end up somewhere mid thigh... but i digress. 8 n$ @, M3 r- l4 G8 r 2 Y3 v0 B6 k, [3 e6 v& TThese seats seem to be dependant on your legs being at an angle – the lady in the flowery shirt can’t be that tall – so if I sat there with my longer legs… wouldn’t my seat have to be higher?* u8 X0 V/ D# q' k
